PRODUCT STORY
100% RECYCLED BRASS
Hand crafted by Jepkemboi and her team of artisans in Baba Dogo, Kenya. The brass comes from old discarded broken brass taps, padlocks and pipes etc with each detail crafted with care to create exquisite pieces of handmade jewellery, a perfect example of an effective circular economy.
Siyu is a charming, historical settlement located on the northern coast of Pate Island, nestled within the stunning Lamu Archipelago along Kenya's coast. Thought to possibly date back to the 13th century, Siyu’s rich heritage stems from its early inhabitants, the Watikuu and Somali from Dondo and Burkao, adding layers of cultural diversity to this ancient Swahili town.
PRODUCT LOVE + CARE
Brass can lose its natural shine over time, but it's easy to restore its glow in an eco-friendly way. Simply apply a little lemon, then buff with a soft cloth to naturally polish your brass. For extra shine, you can use metal polish as well. Keep your brass jewelry looking fresh and sustainable with this simple tip!
