Mini Shoowa

Our Shoowa print is inspired by the raffia cloth of the Shoowa people in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Women embroider these textiles from memory, building interlocking lines and shifting geometric patterns, each with a rhythm of its own. We’ve brought that sense of movement with its blurred edges into this print - wear it with your way and let the pattern do the talking.
