Tiwi Multi Stripe Kikoy Sarong
The Tiwi Kikoy sarong is a wonderfully versatile item that everyone should own. Woven locally in Kenya using organic cotton, the kikoy was traditionally worn along the Kenyan coast by fishermen and is now worn as a sarong on the beach, a scarf when it gets chilly, used as a picnic blanket - the options are endless.
MADE IN KENYA
Yarn dyed for a clean multi coloured stripe.
Manufactured responsibly in Kenya using renewable energy.
Beautifully constructed using recycled sewing thread and interlining.
Tiwi is a beautiful yellow mellow beach on Kenya's south coast with a stunning reef close to the shoreline.
We, recommend using a wash bag to protect it from excessive abrasion in the washing machine.
Start by turning the item inside out, use an eco detergent and wash on a low temperature cycle.
Keep the spin cycle to a minimum or don't spin at all as this creases your garments.
Hanging to dry uses a lot less energy and makes ironing easier OR just simply hand wash and hang to dry.
