Tiwi Multi Stripe Kikoy Sarong

The Tiwi Kikoy sarong is  a wonderfully versatile  item that everyone should own. Woven locally in Kenya using  organic cotton, the kikoy was traditionally worn along the Kenyan coast by local fishermen  and is now worn globally as a sarong on the beach, a scarf when it gets chilly or used as a picnic blanket - the options are endless.

100% COTTON
Yarn dyed for a clean multi coloured stripe.
Manufactured responsibly in Kenya using renewable energy.
Beautifully constructed using recycled sewing thread and interlining.
Tiwi is a beautiful  yellow mellow beach on Kenya's south coast with a stunning reef close to the shoreline.
We, recommend using a wash bag to protect it from excessive abrasion in the washing machine.
Start by turning the item inside out, use an eco detergent and wash on a low temperature cycle.
Keep the spin cycle to a minimum or don't spin at all as this creases your garments.
Hanging to dry uses a lot less energy and makes ironing easier OR just simply hand wash and hang to dry.
